- Insurance - Members of Associations
affiliated to FIBKA are fully insured against third party

- Annual Supply of Sugar, for bee feeding, at
reduced price.
- The FIBKA publishes monthly Journal -
"An Beachaire" (official organ of Federation). For
details contact the Hon. Editor or Hon. Manager.
- Comprehensive Library of Beekeeping Books and
Videos. Books and videos on loan free, borrower pays
return postage. Contact the Librarian.
- Arbour Week - week following first Sunday in
March. Tree plants (nectar bearing) are available at reduced
price.
- Special attractive Federation Honey Jar
Labels, complete with bar code are available to members
of Affiliated Associations who are also listed on the Insurance
register. The Federation label acts as a seal over the cap of the
honey jar and has a number on it and also the Federation's Logo.
A record of the numbers is held by Michael
Woulfe, who also administers the scheme. The
labelling scheme is confined to FIBKA members
who pack only Irish honey and whose names and addresses appear on
the honey jar.
- Lecture Notes -A series of lecture headings,
suitable for Beginners'. Courses may be obtained from
Peter Whyte.
- Maintains a panel of lecturers to talk to associations
- Working closely with the Department of Agriculture,
Fisheries and Food (DAFF) to promote the good health of
bees.
