Two 454g jars of honey - Any type. Entries in this class shall be the Supreme Honey at FIBKA approved shows from the previous year. Prize card or letter from the respective honey show secretary must accompany entry. (A list of those shows is available from the Show Secretary)

Honey Cakes |

| 19 | Honey Fruit Cake made with 175g self raising
flour, 25g ground almonds and 25 g semolina, 100g honey, 100g
butter or margarine, 170g sultanas, two eggs size three beaten
and a pinch of salt. Method: 1 Cream margarine. 2 Add honey and cream further. 3. Add eggs and flour and cream lightly. 4 Put into lined 6"-7" or 150mm. - 175mm circular tin. 5 Bake for 1hr 10 minutes approx. at gas mark 3, 340ºF or 170ºC or until baked. Note: Oven Dependent. |
